Rediseñando mi tarjeta - Club de septiembre de Spellbinders

Hola Crafters:

A veces, las mejores tarjetas nacen de los intentos que no nos convencen del todo.

Esta tarjeta la hice usando el DOMST-SEP25 Large Die of the Month Kit de Spellbinders, y quiero contarte que no fue amor a primera vista. La primera versión simplemente no me gustó: los colores no fluían, y sentía que algo faltaba.

Sometimes, the best cards come from the ones that didn’t feel right at first.

For this project, I used the DOMST-SEP25 Large Die of the Month Kit from Spellbinders — and honestly, my first version just didn’t work. The colors felt off, and the design wasn’t flowing the way I imagined.

Así que decidí volver a empezar desde cero. Elegí una base violeta, que me ayudó a resaltar los tonos cálidos del otoño  —naranjas, amarillos y marrones— y a dar vida a las flores troqueladas. Agregué algunos detalles metálicos en dorado para darle un toque elegante y un fondo embossado que aporta textura y profundidad.

So, I started over. This time, I chose a violet base to make the warm fall tones pop  — oranges, yellows, and browns — bringing the die-cut flowers to life. I added touches of metallic gold for elegance and used an embossed background to add depth and texture.

El resultado final me encantó. Tiene esa energía otoñal que tanto disfruto: cálida, acogedora y un poco mágica. A veces, dejar reposar un proyecto y animarse a rediseñarlo puede ser justo lo que necesitás para enamorarte de nuevo del proceso creativo.

In the end, I fell in love with the result. It has that cozy, magical fall energy I adore. Sometimes, taking a step back and redesigning a project is exactly what you need to fall in love with creating all over again.
