Hoy quiero contarte sobre una experiencia creativa totalmente nueva para mí: coser en papel. Usé el Stitching Die of the Month Membership de Spellbinders y, sinceramente, fue mucho más divertido de lo que imaginaba.

Today I want to share a brand new creative adventure: stitching on paper! I used the Stitching Die of the Month Membership from Spellbinders and honestly, it was even more fun than I expected.

Nunca antes había cosido papel, así que todo fue prueba y error. Me equivoqué varias veces, pero cada puntada fue un pequeño logro y terminé disfrutando el proceso. Lo más desafiante fue lograr una tarjeta masculina, algo que siempre me cuesta, pero este troquel náutico fue perfecto para animarme a salir de mi zona de confort.

I had never stitched paper before, so it was all about trial and error. I made some mistakes, but each stitch felt like a little victory and I really enjoyed the process. The biggest challenge for me was making a masculine card—something I always find tricky—but this nautical die was just what I needed to step out of my comfort zone.

La textura y el detalle que le da la costura al timón le da vida al diseño y lo hace realmente especial. Todavía tengo mucho por aprender sobre esta técnica, pero ya puedo decir que me atrapó y quiero seguir practicando.

The texture and detail that stitching adds to the ship’s wheel really brings the design to life and makes it unique. I still have a lot to learn about this technique, but I’m already hooked and can’t wait to keep practicing.
